On December 17, 2022 a United States Postal Service Carrier was shot at while delivering packages in Charlotte, NC. The time was around 8:30 p.m. near Woodlawn Road in the Madison Park neighborhood.
The male USPS employee was delivering mail when a masked suspect began shooting at the mail truck while the victim was driving. The mail man drove off without being hit.
Highly committed to his job, the mail carrier came back to the same location 20 to 30 minutes later to complete his delivery mail route.
But the suspect was still up to no good, as the suspect shot at the mail man again. The mail carrier then sped off and did not come back.
