27-year-old Dashawn Dean was killed on December 13, 2022 on Moore Road Matthews, NC right near Independence Blvd.
Dashawn was shot in the head while he was driving a vehicle in the parking lot of a hotel at 1:30 p.m. Dashawn then crashed the vehicle into a fence after being shot.
Paramedics responded to 911 calls of shots fired. Dashawn was located in the vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head. His vehicle had extensive front end damage.
Dashawn was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation is underway. No arrests have been made.
