A victim was shot inside of a Walmart store on November 25, 2022 Black Friday. The Walmart is in Lumberton, NC.
The shooting was around 1 p.m. A man shot someone inside of the Walmart during a dispute. The Walmart had many customers in the store due to it being Black Friday, and the many holiday shopping deals.
Crowds of people ran out of the Walmart upon the shots being fired. Several people were hurt or trampled during the human stampede.
As a precaution, the store was evacuated. Robeson County deputies and North Carolina State Troopers are responding to the scene. One male suspect has been arrested.
Of the incident, Walmart says,
“We are working closely with local law enforcement.”
