Demario Warren, 4, was shot and killed on November 2, 2022 at apartments in Charlotte, NC. Dayshawn Warren, 25, is the child’s father, Dayshawn was arrested within hours of the killing.
Officers responded to a call for shots fired at the apartments. Upon arrival, officers discovered Demario with a gunshot wound. Paramedics transported Demario to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
There are reports that the shooting was accidental, but the situation is still being investigated. Dayshawn was arrested on November 3, 2022 and charged with involuntary manslaughter along with sell/give weapon to a minor.
Demario leaves behind a mother, brothers and sisters, and a loving family.
