On April 15, 2022 one person was killed on Interstate 85 in Charlotte, NC near the West Sugar Creek exit.
The victim was tragically hit by a vehicle on the interstate around 10 p.m. and pronounced dead on the scene.
Several lanes on the interstate were closed for hours due to the collision.
