On January 6, 2022 patrol officers in Bronx, New York parked their marked police car on the street to inspect a transit station in a nearby sector.
When they returned, their patrol car was engulfed in flames. Officers quickly put out the fire, and no injuries were reported. Suspects had set the patrol cruiser on fire while the cops were away.
