That is the size of 2 salt grains.&nbsp;Jermaine Allston, 33, was convicted by a jury on June 28, 2021 for trafficking fentanyl in Charlotte, NC.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/.image\/c_fit,h_600,w_600\/MTgyMTUxMjc3Nzg5MDYyNDcy\/24282_36h0h926114041096_11333906341_n.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>Fentanyl is a dangerous drug that is responsible for a significant number of overdose deaths in the United States.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In court Jermaine admitted his status as a habitual felon.<\/p>\n<p>In April 2019, Jermaine was seen exiting a house that was under surveillance for drug activity in Charlotte. An undercover police officer observed&nbsp;Jermaine&nbsp;drive away from the house at a high speed in a residential area.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jermaine&nbsp;was the only person in the car. Officers in a marked patrol car attempted to stop&nbsp;Jermaine\u2019s car, but he fled recklessly, traveling at high speeds over the speed limit.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Jermaine&nbsp;eluded officers and drove all the way to Concord, NC. With officers still chasing, Jermaine&nbsp;then drove back into Charlotte.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Once stopped in traffic, officers were able to apprehend&nbsp;Jermaine&nbsp;and end the chase.
