The crash was in June, but Clifton died in July 2021 due to injuries sustained from the crash.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/.image\/c_fit,h_600,w_600\/MTgyMjkwOTQxMjY3MTU4MzQ0\/3-trukkll-blu.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>Clifton was operating a motorcycle when another driver in a vehicle pulled out and struck Clifton. The victim was thrown from the motorcycle and sustained serious life threatening injuries.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The other driver never stopped and fled the scene. Clifton was rushed to the hospital and underwent emergency surgery. Clifton sustained several broken bones and bleeding around his brain.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, Clifton died in July 2021 due to complications and injuries from the crash.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/charlottealerts\/news\/man-killed-in-motorcycle-crash\">Shaquon Thompson, 31, was killed in a motorcycle collision on June 14, 2021 in Charlotte.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/charlottealerts\/news\/man-killed-in-motorcycle-crash-second-bike-death-in-days\">Daryl Bodrick was killed in a motorcycle accident on May 3, 2021.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Clifton was a graduate of The University of North Carolina Greensboro. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A motorcycle collision left a man in emergency surgery.
