A young child was injured in the wreck.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/medn-img_8810.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>Shortly before 8:30 p.m., on July 17th Eddie was driving a&nbsp;2016 Dodge van&nbsp;at the intersection of Shopton Road West and Eagle Oak Drive. The van ran off the roadway and struck a neighborhood entrance stone pillar. A child passenger was not in a booster seat at the time of the crash and was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.<\/p>\n<p>The van sustained heavy front-end damage.
