Ronnie was crossing the travel lanes on foot when a Ford pickup truck struck him at a high rate of speed. The driver of the pickup did not stop and fled the scene.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The investigation is ongoing to locate the vehicle and identify its driver.<\/p>\n<p>Ronnie was left lying in the roadway with serious injuries.
