{"id":9721,"date":"2021-08-14T18:50:58","date_gmt":"2021-08-14T18:50:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ci028aac8b60002560"},"modified":"2025-02-24T23:29:05","modified_gmt":"2025-02-24T23:29:05","slug":"man-robs-circle-k-convenience-store-and-gets-10-years-in-prison","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/index.php\/2021\/08\/14\/man-robs-circle-k-convenience-store-and-gets-10-years-in-prison\/","title":{"rendered":"MAN ROBS CIRCLE K CONVENIENCE STORE AND GETS 10 YEARS IN PRISON"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>James Massey, 27, was sentenced to 10 years in prison and three years of supervised release on August 13, 2021 in Charlotte, NC.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/.image\/c_fit,h_600,w_600\/MTgzMTQ4NDk4MzI4MjMzMzc5\/0-mail-1.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>James robbed a Circle K convenience store on August 24, 2020, at approximately 4:04 a.m. James robbed the Circle K store located at 4801 Central Avenue.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A store employee saw James standing outside and unlocked the front door, thinking that James was a customer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>James entered the store brandishing a semi-automatic handgun, pointed the firearm at the store employee and ordered him to hand over cash from the register. James threatened to shoot the employee and a store vendor if the employee did not comply.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The employee handed James $70 from the cash register and James fled the scene on foot.
