{"id":9692,"date":"2021-08-18T16:24:04","date_gmt":"2021-08-18T16:24:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ci028afecf900025a2"},"modified":"2021-08-18T16:24:04","modified_gmt":"2021-08-18T16:24:04","slug":"suspect-charged-in-hidden-valley-area-murder","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/index.php\/2021\/08\/18\/suspect-charged-in-hidden-valley-area-murder\/","title":{"rendered":"SUSPECT CHARGED IN HIDDEN VALLEY AREA MURDER"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On August 17, 2021 James McIlwaine, 29, was charged with the Charlotte, NC murder of Samuel Stitt, 23, in the Hidden Valley area.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/.image\/c_fit,h_600,w_600\/MTgzMjM4OTg2MzA5ODM4MjQy\/1untitkled.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/news\/former-rocky-river-high-school-student-killed-near-hidden-valley-in-shooting\">Samuel was killed on the night of August 8, 2019 at the Somerset Apartments on Ventura Way Drive Charlotte, NC.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Samuel was shot inside an apartment, and died on the scene. Samuel is a former student of Rocky River High School in Mint Hill, NC.<\/p>\n<p>Over 2 years later the suspect was arrested. At the time of Mcllwaine&#8217;s arrest, he was already in jail for other non-related charges.
