Shamika is charged with the murder of Matthew Simmons, 54, that occured in Charlotte, NC.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/.image\/c_fit,h_600,w_600\/MTgzMzU5Nzk4MzcxMTY1NjAy\/0cmpd.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/news\/victim-killed-in-shooting-near-west-blvd\">Matthew was killed on August 21, 2021 during a shooting on Brooksvale Street.&nbsp;The shooting was near midnight. Matthew was pronounced deceased on the scene.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Shamika was identified as a suspect in this case and warrants were issued for her arrest.
