The deadly shooting was at the Walmart on&nbsp;9101 Albemarle Rd on November 5, 2021.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/.image\/c_fit,h_600,w_600\/MTg1MDc5ODkxNDM0MTUzMzA1\/3-trukkll-blu.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/news\/walmart-shooting-in-east-charlotte\">The deadly situation started when a&nbsp;security guard contracted by Walmart advised uniformed patrol officers that an armed male brandished a gun and pointed it at him.<\/a>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the security guard stated that the armed man threatened to shoot the officers if they responded. As officers approached the man, they allegedly perceived a lethal threat and fired their service weapons, for whatever reason, we do not know.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Medics arrived and transported the man to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased from injuries he sustained in the Walmart shooting. A firearm was recovered at the scene.<\/p>\n<p><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>No officers were injured in this incident.<u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>The SBI will be the primary investigative agency for the officer involved shooting.
