{"id":9144,"date":"2021-11-25T00:55:50","date_gmt":"2021-11-25T00:55:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ci0293196940002452"},"modified":"2021-11-25T00:55:50","modified_gmt":"2021-11-25T00:55:50","slug":"man-rams-girlfriends-vehicle-at-police-station-and-shoots-at-her-kids-during-dispute","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/index.php\/2021\/11\/25\/man-rams-girlfriends-vehicle-at-police-station-and-shoots-at-her-kids-during-dispute\/","title":{"rendered":"MAN RAMS GIRLFRIEND&#8217;S VEHICLE AT POLICE STATION AND SHOOTS AT HER KIDS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On November&nbsp;19, 2021 Kendrick Piggie, 32, was convicted to several years in prison after he drove his vehicle into a car containing a woman and four children, Kendrick also shot at the vehicle.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/.image\/c_fit,h_600,w_600\/MTg1NTIwMDA1ODU5Nzc5NzQ1\/0-mail-2.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>The jury found him guilty of one count of discharging a weapon into an occupied vehicle in operation, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, four counts of assault with a deadly weapon with a minor present, and communicating threats.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In February 2019 Kendrick argued with the female victim and then began a 30-minute car chase in which he followed her vehicle, which was also occupied by four children.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>During the chase,&nbsp;Kendrick rammed her vehicle, brandished a gun, and threatened to kill her. In fear, she ultimately drove to a police precinct, where&nbsp;Kendrick&nbsp;rammed her car twice before shooting at her vehicle six times.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Two of the gunshots struck the victim\u2019s vehicle. Then Kendrick&nbsp;fled the scene and wrecked his car only a few blocks away. He ran from his vehicle but was located by police at a nearby dumpster.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A judge sentenced Kendrick to 60-84 months in prison. He was also sentenced to an additional 14-26 months in prison; that sentence was suspended pending his successful completion of 36 months of supervised probation.
