{"id":9140,"date":"2021-11-25T01:46:14","date_gmt":"2021-11-25T01:46:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ci029319f110002452"},"modified":"2021-11-25T01:46:14","modified_gmt":"2021-11-25T01:46:14","slug":"2-men-killed-in-deadly-vehicle-collision-dwi-suspect-charged","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/index.php\/2021\/11\/25\/2-men-killed-in-deadly-vehicle-collision-dwi-suspect-charged\/","title":{"rendered":"2 MEN KILLED IN DEADLY VEHICLE COLLISION, DWI SUSPECT CHARGED"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>  Luke Drawdy, 32, and Restin Drawdy, 35, were both killed in a massive vehicle collision on November 23, 2021 on North Tryon Street Charlotte, NC.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/.image\/c_fit,h_600,w_600\/MTg1NTIwODk3MzMzOTI5MTIx\/3-trukkll-blu.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>On Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at approximately 9:13 p.m., Luke was driving an Audi SUV and was attempting to turn onto North Tryon Street from a side entrance\/exit of a shopping center.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, a Volkswagen driven by&nbsp;Thomas Nix, 24,&nbsp;was in the left lane traveling on North Tryon Street. As the Audi attempted to turn left, it was struck by the Volkswagen on the driver&#8217;s side.<\/p>\n<p>The Audi SUV sustained heavy damage. The Volkswagen also sustained heavy front-end damage in the tree line. Thomas was transported to Atrium Main Hospital by medics with injuries.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Luke and his front seat passenger Restin were both pronounced deceased on scene.&nbsp;Both deceased occupants were wearing their seatbelts.
