{"id":9134,"date":"2021-11-26T20:39:03","date_gmt":"2021-11-26T20:39:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ci02933fd1c00024a1"},"modified":"2021-11-26T20:39:03","modified_gmt":"2021-11-26T20:39:03","slug":"woman-killed-on-thanksgiving-night-on-beatties-ford-road","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/index.php\/2021\/11\/26\/woman-killed-on-thanksgiving-night-on-beatties-ford-road\/","title":{"rendered":"WOMAN KILLED ON THANKSGIVING NIGHT ON BEATTIES FORD ROAD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Thanksgiving night 2021 a woman was killed at the intersection of Sunset Road and Beatties Ford Road in Charlotte, NC. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/news\/one-killed-on-thanksgiving-day-in-south-charlotte\">Several other people have also been killed on Thanksgiving Day.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Shortly before 10:00 p.m. on November 25, 2021, officers responded to reports of someone lying in the roadway and in need of medical attention. When they arrived, officers located a female pedestrian in the roadway and determined she had been struck by a vehicle in a hit and run collision. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased on scene by medics.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>The pedestrian was in a crosswalk and crossing Sunset Road when she was struck by a fire red two door Ford Explorer.
