{"id":9079,"date":"2021-12-07T21:48:56","date_gmt":"2021-12-07T21:48:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ci029428b0a0002594"},"modified":"2021-12-07T21:48:56","modified_gmt":"2021-12-07T21:48:56","slug":"man-shot-to-death-inside-vehicle-in-drive-by-shooting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/index.php\/2021\/12\/07\/man-shot-to-death-inside-vehicle-in-drive-by-shooting\/","title":{"rendered":"MAN SHOT TO DEATH INSIDE VEHICLE IN DRIVE-BY SHOOTING"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An adult male victim identified as&nbsp;Devontae Springs, 29,&nbsp;was shot and killed on December 7, 2021 on Swank Place Charlotte, NC.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/.image\/c_fit,h_600,w_600\/MTg1ODE4NjQwMzA0NTgwMjI0\/1untitkled.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>The shooting was at 12:21 a.m.&nbsp;Devontae&nbsp;was inside of a vehicle when another vehicle drove by and shot him several times.&nbsp;Devontae&nbsp;died on the scene.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, as responding officers were arriving, a description of another vehicle that was involved was observed leaving the scene at a high rate of speed. Officers engaged in a brief vehicle pursuit, subsequently the vehicle crashed into a utility pole. <\/p>\n<p>Officers were able to detain both occupants quickly and without further incident.
