The baby was accidently ran over by his father on&nbsp;Huntsmoor Drive Charlotte, NC.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/baby-2616673_960_720.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>On Monday, December 13, 2021, the father went outside his residence to move a Chevrolet truck from where it was parked in the driveway to a different location within the same driveway.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The father pulled slightly forward before beginning to back up, which is when he heard baby&nbsp;Mateo&nbsp;yelling. The father exited the vehicle, and saw that he had just hit baby Mateo with the pickup truck.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mateo&#8217;s mother was inside the house when the crash occurred, and both parents had reason to believe that&nbsp;Mateo&nbsp;was also inside. The parents transported&nbsp;Mateo&nbsp;to Atrium Health Pineville Hospital.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Mateo was air lifted to Atrium Health Main Hospital due to his life threatening injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately on December 14, 2021, at 4:24 a.m., baby Mateo was pronounced deceased by hospital staff.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A tragic accident took the life of a baby.
