The murder occurred on December 23, 2021 in Catawba County, NC.  <\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/.image\/c_fit,h_600,w_600\/MTg2MTg2NjA2MjU4OTU1Mzkz\/24282_36h0h926114041096_11333906341_n.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p> Thomas is accused of shooting and killing his girlfriend Hope during an argument.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p> During the argument, things escalated into a physical fight between Thomas and Hope. Officers were called around 1:45 a.m. to a home on Maple Court. When police arrived they found Hope shot.<\/p>\n<p>Also inside the home was Thomas and their two teenage children. <\/p>\n<p>Hope was taken to the Catawba Valley Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas is charged with second degree murder. The teenagers in the home were not injured during the murder.
