The victim was a mother who had an 8-year-old daughter.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/.image\/c_fit,h_600,w_600\/MTg2ODE3MjE4NTkwMjg3MzQz\/1untitkled.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>On Tuesday, January 18, 2022 Katilyn was walking at the&nbsp;intersection of Union Street South and Ridge Court SW in Concord. Katilyn was hit by a vehicle. The vehicle did not stop and fled the scene. Katilyn died from the impact.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle was last seen turning onto Interstate-85 South from Concord Mills Boulevard at 8:31 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, January 19, 2022 Keshara arrived at the Concord Police Department with her attorney and turned herself in.
