Ethan died on February 12, 2022.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/bus-20220202_233649.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/news\/one-shot-in-uptown-charlotte-during-party-night-city-lynx-shutdown\">The actual shooting was on February 11, 2022 around 10 p.m. Ethan was driving a city bus on West Trade with 4 passengers abroad. A SUV then pulled up beside the bus and shot Ethan in the head.<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) bus then traveled off of the roadway. Once officers got to the CATS bus they located the driver Ethan with an apparent gunshot wound. <\/p>\n<p> Ethan was taken from the scene to Atrium Main hospital with life threatening injuries. However, on February 12th Ethan died at the hospital.
