Ethan was a bus driver with the City of Charlotte. He was shot in the head on West Trade Street Charlotte, NC on February 11, 2022 while on duty. Ethan had young children.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/.image\/c_fit,h_600,w_600\/MTg3MzkxNTEzNjk5ODIxMzI3\/hospital-img_9797.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/news\/charlotte-bus-driver-murdered-in-drive-by-shooting-on-duty\">Ethan was on a city bus in downtown Charlotte driving 4 to 5 passengers to their destinations when a driver in a SUV had a road rage dispute with Ethan. The suspect in the SUV pulled up beside the large bus and fired several shots.<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Ethan was shot in the head, the bus then drove off the roadway. The suspect SUV sped off. 911 was called and paramedics rushed Ethan to Atrium Main hospital.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/city-20220123_221750.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>Unfortunately, Ethan died on February 12, 2022 while receiving treatment at the hospital.
