The alleged abuse was in Miami, Florida. The infant was found with 15 body fractures.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/.image\/c_fit,h_600,w_600\/MTg3ODk0MzQ2NDU5MTI4ODg2\/1untitkled.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>Veronica took her 3-year-old daughter to a hospital, reporting that the girl had a self inflicted head injury. Doctors at the hospital examined the girl and found that she had 15 body fractures that were not self inflicted. <\/p>\n<p>The doctors also noted that some of the body fractures were several months old.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p> Child protection teams arrived at the hospital and determined that the young girl had been physically abused.  <\/p>\n<p> Veronica told authorities that on one occasion she grabbed her daughter and pushed her against a wall. Additionally, Veronica said that on another occasion she had slammed the child against a mattress.<\/p>\n<p>Veronica says she was frustrated with her daughter&#8217;s behavior.<\/p>\n<p>Veronica said she didn\u2019t take her daughter to the hospital sooner because she feared police and the Department of Children and Families would be called on her. <\/p>\n<p>Veronica was arrested at the hospital and given a $15,000 bond. She is charged with aggravated child abuse and child neglect, both with great bodily harm.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The mom says she pushed her infant daughter against a wall.
