{"id":8366,"date":"2022-03-29T15:08:30","date_gmt":"2022-03-29T15:08:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ci029d5daf300024db"},"modified":"2022-03-29T15:08:30","modified_gmt":"2022-03-29T15:08:30","slug":"man-sentenced-to-prison-on-gun-charges","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/index.php\/2022\/03\/29\/man-sentenced-to-prison-on-gun-charges\/","title":{"rendered":"MAN SENTENCED TO PRISON ON GUN CHARGES"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Joseph Jones, 31, was sentenced to prison on March 24, 2022 in Charlotte, NC for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, misdemeanor carrying a concealed gun, and being a habitual felon.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/24282_36h0926114041096_11333906341_n.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>In June 2020 police responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon outside a store on Albemarle Road in Charlotte. Police developed a description of the suspect vehicle, and officers soon saw a vehicle matching that description.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop, and a vehicle pursuit ensued until the car crashed. The driver and Joseph the passenger fled from the vehicle and ran onto the property of a nearby elementary school.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Joseph was apprehended after he became entangled in some brush, and it was then that police saw a revolver in his pants pocket. The revolver was fully loaded with three live rounds and three spent casings.<\/p>\n<p>  On March 24, 2022 the jury found him guilty as charged.
