On March 30, 2022 the case was ruled as a justified homicide by detectives and the Mecklenburg County District Attorney&#8217;s Office. So, the person that killed Lemuel will not face any criminal prosecution and gets off free.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/2legal-news.png\"><\/figure>\n<p>Detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department\u2019s Homicide Unit have classified this case as a justified homicide. The Mecklenburg County District Attorney\u2019s Office consulted with  the Homicide Unit and concurred with detectives&#8217; decision not to charge anyone in this case.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/news\/-man-shot-and-killed-in-broad-daylight\">Lemuel was shot and killed on January 31, 2022 on Ivy Meadow Drive Charlotte, NC.
