Arlana was a freshman cheerleader at Southern University in Louisiana. Arlana was from Texas and was majoring in agriculture.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/.image\/c_fit,h_600,w_600\/MTg5Mjk5NzMxNjk5MDgzMjMy\/3-trukkll-blu.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p> Arlana shared a social media post, talking about death and her history with suicidal thoughts. In the post, Arlana also mentioned her frustration this past year with COVID-19 and tearing her ACL tendon while cheering.&nbsp;&nbsp;  <\/p>\n<p>The post was her final post on the internet. Arlana&#8217;s post in part reads: <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p> I know that I\u2019m letting a lot people down by what I\u2019m about to do.   I have written so many suicide notes in my life but finally, I\u2019ve reached my end.   I\u2019m happy in the water where everything is still and peaceful.  <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<p>I have fought this urge since my early teenage years. I gave this life all the fight I had. I struggled so much through just this year alone. From covid, to tearing my acl, to nearly failing all of my classes.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Arlana was found dead in waters shortly after the social media post. <\/p>\n<p>Southern University&#8217;s President-Chancellor Ray L.
