{"id":8085,"date":"2022-05-17T06:44:00","date_gmt":"2022-05-17T06:44:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ci02a15f9510002661"},"modified":"2025-02-26T01:29:50","modified_gmt":"2025-02-26T01:29:50","slug":"white-man-accused-of-murdering-his-mother","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/index.php\/2022\/05\/17\/white-man-accused-of-murdering-his-mother\/","title":{"rendered":"WHITE MAN ACCUSED OF MURDERING HIS MOTHER"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> Shane McDevitt, 36, was arrested on May 11, 2022 charged with murdering his mother 65-year-old Cecelia Liposky in&nbsp;Lawrence County, Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/.image\/c_fit,h_600,w_600\/MTg5NTM3NzkyMzQxMDU5MTY5\/0-mecklenburg-solitary-cell.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>On May 10, 2022 Shane was at home with his mother when he allegedly hit his mother multiple times in the head with a round piece of glass and a claw hammer after an argument about drug addiction.<\/p>\n<p>Shane then left the residence in a vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Cecelia&#8217;s daughter was in another part of the city, and did not hear from her mother; so the daughter called police for a welfare check.   <\/p>\n<p>State police arrived at Cecelia&#8217;s house and found her dead. Cops launched a murder investigation. Cops found a round piece of decorative glass and a claw hammer near her body with blood on them. <\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/.image\/c_fit,h_600,w_600\/MTg5NTM4MjQzMDQ0MTg5Nzkz\/image-placeholder-title.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>The coroner said Cecelia died from blunt force trauma to her head.<\/p>\n<p>Shane was spotted around 2 a.m. the next morning driving Cecelia&#8217;s car. A brief chase ensued and Shane was arrested.
