Reginald had just been released from prison earlier this year.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/.image\/c_fit,h_600,w_600\/MTg5Njg2NTY1MTc2MzU0NTY5\/3-trukkll-blu.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p>The shooting unfolded at 1:30 a.m., officers and medics responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call. One male and one female were shot on Burkland Drive, they were taken to the hospital. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/news\/triple-shooting-one-dead-in-grier-town?fbclid=IwAR1yg6lcr2GBUBIh7k-t7f54755UJya0R9ezcyYcoEWQhOnqZC6hkBQXXPM\">Once officers arrived on scene, they observed a vehicle fleeing the scene. Cops pursued the vehicle to Briarwood Drive. It was there that officers located a third victim identified as Reginald Leach who suffered from a gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased on scene.<\/a> <\/p>\n<p> After a foot pursuit and K-9 track, officers took the driver of the vehicle into custody. Specifics on the situation are still being sought.<\/p>\n<p>Reginald was released from prison in 2022.
