Laniya was a mother of 3 young kids ages 7, 3, and 2. <\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/.image\/c_fit,h_600,w_600\/MTkwMzg2MzcyMTE1MTc4NzU2\/3-trukkll-blu.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>At 7 a.m. Laniya was driving a sedan vehicle on Interstate 94 after working her overnight shift at Fed Ex. Authorities say Laniya fell asleep at the wheel and veered into on coming highway traffic, crashing into a pickup truck head on. <\/p>\n<p>The crash caused the truck and Laniya&#8217;s vehicle to move into the path of a 18-wheeler truck, which caused another collision.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>All 3 vehicles caught fire. The driver of the truck had severe burns and was taken to the hospital. Laniya was injured and taken to the hospital too. <\/p>\n<p>It was at the hospital that Laniya and the truck driver died. The driver of the 18-wheeler was not hurt. <\/p>\n<p>The crash shut down traffic on the interstate for hours.
