Kevin had robbed a Food Lion, because his food assistance ran out. Kevin wanted to feed his kids.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/police-day-img_4997.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/robbery\/father-killed-by-cops-after-running-out-of-food-stamps-and-robbing-food-lion\">Kevin had robbed the Food Lion on Tuckaseegee Road due to his food assistance depleting. A silent alarm notified cops of the robbery. Police quickly responded to the scene and confronted Kevin.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Kevin allegedly shot several shots at officers. Police shot back, and Kevin was shot. The suspect was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
