On June 27, 2022 there were 5 people shot in Charlotte, NC on Beatties Ford Road. Among the shot are 2 adults, 2 kids, and a baby. <\/p>\n

The shooting was around 2 p.m. A drive-by shooting transpired while multiple people were outside. The shooter used an AK-47 gun to fire several shots at the victims. 5 people total were shot.  <\/p>\n

911 was called and officers responded to multiple reports of shots being fired and persons being shot in the area. <\/p>\n

Officers located an adult and a child suffering from gunshot wounds. The child was shot in the shoulder. Officers also located an additional adult and juvenile nearby who were suffering from gunshot wounds. <\/p>\n

Medic responded and transported the four victims to an area hospital to receive treatment. A baby was also shot, making the victim count to 5.<\/p>\n

Preliminary information shows that this was not a random act of violence, and that the suspects knew the victims. No arrests have been made. <\/p>\n

5 people were killed in Charlotte over the weekend. This includes a homicide and double shooting in uptown Charlotte. No arrests have been made in any of the shooting deaths. <\/p>\n
