A construction contract employee died at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport on July 24, 2022 in Charlotte, NC.  <\/p>\n

According to the North Carolina Department of Labor, the victim worked for Rosendin Electric and was part of the ongoing construction at the airport.<\/p>\n

The employee was electrocuted during a workplace accident. The employee died on the scene.<\/p>\n

Rosendin Electric released the following statement:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Rosendin family is deeply saddened by the death of an employee who was found unresponsive while working on a construction site at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport. The cause of death is unknown at this time. Rosendin leadership, OSHA, and the NC Department of Labor are actively investigating the incident. On behalf of everyone at Rosendin, our deepest condolences go out to the family.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

An investigation surrounding the incident is underway by the Occupational Safety and Health Division. <\/p>\n

Kendrick Hudson, 24, died at the same airport after being crushed by a luggage hauling tug.<\/a><\/p>\n
