{"id":7291,"date":"2022-08-19T19:33:48","date_gmt":"2022-08-19T19:33:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ci02a929eb600025f2"},"modified":"2022-08-19T19:33:48","modified_gmt":"2022-08-19T19:33:48","slug":"man-charged-with-stabbing-male-victim-to-death","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/index.php\/2022\/08\/19\/man-charged-with-stabbing-male-victim-to-death\/","title":{"rendered":"MAN CHARGED WITH STABBING MALE VICTIM TO DEATH"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Detectives from the Gastonia Police Department have charged 55-year-old Kevin Mosby with the murder of 48-year-old Donald Watts that occurred on August 3, 2022 in Gastonia, NC.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/.image\/c_fit,h_600,w_600\/MTkxNzMwNTgzMzMwNjI5Mjgz\/1untitkled.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/news\/victim-murdered-after-being-assaulted-in-home\">At approximately 2:30 a.m. on August 3,  officers were dispatched to a home to check on a resident after a possible assault.<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Upon arrival, officers located Donald deceased inside the home. Preliminary investigation indicates that Donald was stabbed. <\/p>\n<p>During the investigation, detectives identified Kevin as the suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest. <\/p>\n<p>On August 18, 2022 Kevin was arrested at a Gastonia hotel without incident.<\/p>\n<p>Kevin is charged with first degree murder.
