The suspects are Devon Platt, 29, and Donnesha Blount, 29. Moerell was murdered on August 24, 2022.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/.image\/c_fit,h_600,w_600\/MTkyMDE1OTI5OTUxOTIxNjA3\/1untitkled.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>Dozens of people were hanging out in the parking lot of the Shell gas station on the intersection of West Sugar Creek Road and Reagan Drive in Charlotte, NC. <\/p>\n<p>Around 12:15 a.m. a fight between multiple people broke out at the gas station. Someone then began shooting a gun multiple times. Moerell was shot. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/charlottealerts\/news\/man-murdered-on-west-sugar-creek-at-shell-gas-station\">People began running. Paramedics later arrived on scene and gave Moerell emergency treatment.
