On August 1, 2022 Jose Paulino Pascual Reyes, 37, was charged with murdering his girlfriend Sandra Vazquez Ceja, 29, and her 14-year-old son in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. Sandra’s 12-year-old daughter was tied up, but she escaped. Jose was Sandra’s live in boyfriend, he was an illegal immigrant. <\/p>\n

Sandra and her two children moved in with Jose in February 2022. Jose had already been deported from the United States in years prior, but he came back shortly afterwards. <\/p>\n

On July 24, 2022 Sandra and her 14-year-old son were brutally murdered in a trailer park home that they lived in with Jose.<\/p>\n

Sandra and her son were then cut up into pieces. Jose is accused of the double homicide. Sandra’s 12-year-old daughter was tied up to a bed post allegedly by Jose and given alcohol to drink, which kept her in an drunken state. <\/p>\n

Sandra and her son lay dead in the trailer park for a week. Sandra’s daughter was held hostage during the same time frame. At one point on August 1st, the girl was able to chew away rope and tape around her to get free. <\/p>\n

The girl used her braces to help rip away the bondage. As a result she had bloody cuts in her mouth, but she was able to free herself and escape.<\/p>\n

The girl ran outside around 8 in the morning, a passerby in a vehicle saw her and stopped. The good samaritan allowed the girl to get in the car and police were called.<\/p>\n

Authorities arrived to the trailer park and found Sandra and her son dead and dismembered. Jose was arrested and charged with 2 counts of capital murder, two counts of abuse of a corpse, and first degree kidnapping. <\/p>\n

The girl is now in the custody of Tallapoosa County Child Protective Services. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
