{"id":7148,"date":"2022-09-10T01:59:32","date_gmt":"2022-09-10T01:59:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ci02aaea8e7000262e"},"modified":"2022-09-10T01:59:32","modified_gmt":"2022-09-10T01:59:32","slug":"man-killed-after-being-hit-by-car-at-midnight","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/index.php\/2022\/09\/10\/man-killed-after-being-hit-by-car-at-midnight\/","title":{"rendered":"MAN KILLED AFTER BEING HIT BY CAR AT MIDNIGHT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>  Bartelmi Henlein Medrano-Cadiz, 45, was killed on September 3, 2022, at 12:36 a.m. on Camp Steward Road Charlotte, NC. <\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/.image\/c_fit,h_600,w_600\/MTkyMjIzODMzNDgxMDI5MTY2\/1img_4771.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>Paramedics were driving along Camp Stewart Rd. when they encountered a crash. Medics observed an unresponsive pedestrian and a Jeep Cherokee in the roadway. <\/p>\n<p>The pedestrian was pronounced deceased on scene at 12:38 a.m. The driver and passenger of the Jeep Cherokee remained on scene. <\/p>\n<p>The Jeep was driving when it struck the pedestrian Bartelmi. <\/p>\n<p>Bartelmi appeared to be walking across the roadway in a very dark non crosswalk area and was in the Jeep&#8217;s lane of travel. The driver of the Jeep was screened for impairment by a DWI Task Force officer and was determined not to be impaired. <\/p>\n<p>Excessive speed does not appear to be a contributing factor in this crash.
