Paramedics transported Desmond to Atrium Health Main hospital with life threatening injuries. <\/p>\n<p>Clifford was arrested on October 3, 2022 charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury regarding Desmond being shot. <\/p>\n<p>During the early evening hours of October 5, 2022, Desmond succumbed to his injuries and died at the hospital.
