Ashly was a mother to 3 children. Ashly was murdered during Memorial Day weekend on May 29, 2021 in Charlotte, NC. <\/p>\n<p>Brantley and Troy Privette, 31, were charged in connection to Ashly&#8217;s murder.  <\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/charlottealerts\/news\/a-woman-was-killed-on-memorial-day-weekend-again-in-charlotte\">Shortly after 4:00 p.m., on May 29, 2021, officers responded to a welfare check 911 call on Biscayne Drive in Charlotte. When they arrived, officers located Ashly dead.<\/a> <\/p>\n<p> Within hours Brantley was arrested and charged with 1st degree murder and concealing a death. Troy was arrested and charged with accessory after the fact (Murder) and concealing a death.<\/p>\n<p>Before trial Brantley plead guilty to second degree murder and was given 30 to 37 years in prison.
