Vasya Nesvit, 26, was shot also, but survived. Vasya has been in the hospital ever since.&nbsp;  <\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/.image\/c_fit,h_600,w_600\/MTkyOTg4OTExNTc0NzIyMjU2\/3-trukkll-blu.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>Vasya was in Charlotte delivering products from Oregon. On October 3, 2022 Vasya was driving a truck and pulled over at the Pilot Travel Center gas station, which provides gas for 18 wheeler trucks.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Vasya got out of the truck and began walking towards the entrance of the store around 11:30 p.m., at the same moment a suspect shot at Raymond during an altercation. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/news\/man-navy-veteran-murdered-at-pilot-gas-station-died-at-hospital\">Raymond was shot. Vasya heard the gunfire and tried to duck behind a truck, but Vasya was shot also. Vasya and Raymond did not know each other. The suspect fled.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Raymond and Vasya were both taken to the hospital by ambulance. One of the victims was shot in the chest. <\/p>\n<p>Hours later on October 4th, Raymond died at the hospital. Vasya was taken to emergency care, he is still in the hospital in critical condition. <\/p>\n<p>Vasya has family ties to Ukraine.
