On October 15, 2022 a shooting broke out at Livingstone College during homecoming week. The college is located in Salisbury, NC. 2 people were shot.<\/p>\n
The shooting was during a concert on campus at 11 p.m. Several people began shooting at each other during an argument that got out of hand. 2 people were shot.<\/p>\n
2 more Livingstone College students were hurt as crowds of people ran away from the gunfire. <\/p>\n
Livingstone had this to say after the shooting: <\/p>\n
\n\u201cOur priority is and remains to ensure the mental wellness of our students and to evaluate our public safety measures to create a safe, living, learning and working environment, we are saddened because our students, alumni, family and friends were exposed to this senseless act of violence.\u201c<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
