Jamontey shot 2 cops in the face during the shooting.&nbsp;  <\/p>\n<p>At  12:30 am, officers conducted a traffic stop on Jamontey in the rain after getting a tip that he was in possession of a firearm. <\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/091e100d-a909-4c04-a930-334954ec31da-thumb_237.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>During the stop, Jamontey fired at the officers, shooting and wounding two of the officers. The cops were shot in the face and in other areas of the body. <\/p>\n<p>Officers returned fire, shooting Jamontey. Paramedics arrived on scene and took Jamontey to the hospital. <\/p>\n<p> Jamontey later died at the hospital.
