Corey died at the hospital months after being randomly attacked.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/hospital.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>Corey was hit in the head on July 24, 2022 on Randolph Road in Charlotte. Corey was in the middle of a exercise walk. A male suspect approached Corey and hit him multiple times with a blunt object. <\/p>\n<p>The suspect then fled in a black sedan with fake paper tags.<\/p>\n<p>Corey was transported to a local hospital with a major head injury. Corey stayed in the hospital for several months in treatment. <\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately on November 5, 2022, Corey was pronounced deceased due to the injuries sustained in the assault. This case is now classified as an homicide.
