The Walmart is in Lumberton, NC. <\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/walmart-police_defend_choice_to_pursue_shoplifte_9_67123378_ver10_640_360.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>The shooting was around 1 p.m. A man shot someone inside of the Walmart during a dispute. The Walmart had many customers in the store due to it being Black Friday, and the many holiday shopping deals.<\/p>\n<p>Crowds of people ran out of the Walmart upon the shots being fired. Several people were hurt or trampled during the human stampede.<\/p>\n<p>As a precaution, the store was evacuated. Robeson County deputies and North Carolina State Troopers are responding to the scene. One male suspect has been arrested.<\/p>\n<p> Of the incident, Walmart says,<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWe are working closely with local law enforcement.\u201d  <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/charlottealerts\/news\/walmart-manager-murders-6-people-inside-store-4-more-shot\">This is however the second mass shooting at Walmart this week.
