Marquis Grier, 45, is charged with the murder of Darrius. <\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/.image\/c_fit,h_600,w_600\/MTk0MTE4OTQ4ODc3MjQ4MTc3\/123k7mnbll.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/news\/man-murdered-in-west-charlotte-3rd-homicide-in-24-hours\">Shortly after 6:00 p.m., officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call. Upon arrival, officers discovered Darrius  with a gunshot wound. Medics transported Darrius  to the hospital with life threatening injuries.<\/a> <\/p>\n<p> Darrius   was pronounced deceased from his injuries a short time later.
