{"id":6585,"date":"2022-12-14T19:08:36","date_gmt":"2022-12-14T19:08:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ci02b2cd8b700026b1"},"modified":"2022-12-14T19:08:36","modified_gmt":"2022-12-14T19:08:36","slug":"man-sold-glock-switches-in-charlotte","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/index.php\/2022\/12\/14\/man-sold-glock-switches-in-charlotte\/","title":{"rendered":"MAN SOLD GLOCK SWITCHES IN CHARLOTTE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On December 14, 2022 Desmon Moore, 24, was sentenced to 37 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release on multiple firearms offenses in Charlotte, NC.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/.image\/c_fit,h_600,w_600\/MTk0NDQzNzc2NDQ4NTM4Mjg5\/3-trukkll-blu.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>According to filed court documents and court proceedings, between 2021 and March 2022, Desmon engaged in the manufacturing and sale of firearms without a license in Charlotte. <\/p>\n<p>ATF agents investigating Desmon  determined that he illegally sold conversion devices commonly known as \u201cGlock switches\u201d which enable a semi-automatic handgun to function as an automatic.&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p> Desmon  also engaged in the sale of multiple firearms and privately made firearms or ghost guns, some of which had been converted into machine guns using the illegal conversion devices. <\/p>\n<p>Federal law prohibits the possession of machine guns. <\/p>\n<p>According to court records, two undercover ATF agents also attended a class Desmon   taught on how to build privately made firearms and install Glock switches.
