The time was around 8:30 p.m. near Woodlawn Road in the Madison Park neighborhood. <\/p>\n<p>The male USPS employee was delivering mail when a masked suspect began shooting at the mail truck while the victim was driving. The mail man drove off without being hit. <\/p>\n<p>Highly committed to his job, the mail carrier came back to the same location 20 to 30 minutes later to complete his delivery mail route. <\/p>\n<p>But the suspect was still up to no good, as the suspect shot at the mail man again. The mail carrier then sped off and did not come back. <\/p>\n<p> The U.S. Postal Service confirmed the shooting: <\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>At this time no additional details can be provided as it is an ongoing investigation. The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is investigating this incident with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
