The deputy approached the vehicle, Aiden is accused of firing multiple shots at Deputy Dijon.<\/a> <\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/.image\/c_fit,h_600,w_600\/MTk0ODAzMzI2OTUxMzY3ODQy\/3-trukkll-blu.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>The deputy was shot 5 times and fell to the ground. But the deputy was still able to return fire, injuring the suspect. Both Deputy Dijon and Aiden were transported to Atrium Health Main hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Dijon has been employed with the Mecklenburg County Sheriff\u2019s Office since 2002. The Deputy underwent surgery and is in recovery.
