The victims were working at a construction site on East Morehead Street. <a href=\"https:\/\/CHARLOTTEALERTSNEWS.COM\/charlottealerts\/news\/video-3-dead-in-charlotte-construction-site-fall-70-foot-drop\">Video of the construction accident can be seen here.<\/a> <\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/.image\/c_fit,h_600,w_600\/MTk0ODkwMDMxMDY2Nzg1MzA0\/3-trukkll-blu.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>The workers were on the construction site of an apartment building. And around 9 a.m. the scaffolding that the 3 construction workers were standing on collapsed. The workers were high up at 70 feet when the platform came crashing down. The 3 employees were killed on the scene by the fall. <\/p>\n<p>2 more construction workers were hurt and taken to the hospital, but those 2 survived. It is not clear what company the construction workers were employed with.<\/p>\n<p> OSHA and the NC Department of Labor will evaluate the construction site, and there will likely be violations, penalties, and fines. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/CHARLOTTEALERTSNEWS.COM\/charlottealerts\/news\/worker-killed-in-21-story-fall-construction-company-in-violation\">A latino construction worker in Charlotte fell to his death during an accident on a skyscraper.
