Lyric was shot on Moretz Ave. Charlotte, NC.<\/a> A balloon release is now scheduled to honor the little girl&#8217;s life.&nbsp;  <\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/tender-hodgkin.62-151-180-206.plesk.page\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/medn-22_215420.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p>The balloon release is scheduled for January 6, 2022 at the 900 block of Moretz Avenue Charlotte, NC at 5:00 p.m. <\/p>\n<p>Lyric was shot at 12:20 a.m. just after 2023 began at a residence. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlottealertsnews.com\/charlottealerts\/news\/victim-killed-in-shooting-on-new-years-day-in-west-charlotte\">A family member found Lyric shot in a room. 911 was called and Lyric was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>The investigation is underway.
